P.S. The real ending was fantastic. I'm jealous that you have a whole four seasons of BSG to watch! Hit me up along the way and let me know how you're enjoying it. IMO, it's the best tv show ever created, by a wide margin.
Oh, and make sure to watch the mini-series that debuted before season 1, as well as the movies (Razor is the name of one of them).
Phew, I'm pretty darn impressed with it so far. I was trying to figure out the story with the series, seems like quite a puzzle getting the order right. Wiki has been a help and thanks for the tip on the mini-series.
